    "message": "python: dgread.to_arrow, dgread.to_parquet and the dg2parquet command\n\nParquet is the format every analysis tool opens with no dg-specific code\n(pandas, polars, DuckDB, R's arrow, Spark), and pyarrow already knows how\nto write nested lists, so this is the cheap place to provide it: the same\nrow-count selection as to_pandas/to_awkward, element types kept (long ->\nint32, float -> float32, int64 and double as themselves, strings, ragged\ncolumns as list<...> built from one concatenation and an offsets array),\nsources concatenated in order.  pyarrow is the new optional extra\n`dgread[arrow]`; nothing imports it until a converter is called.\n\ndg2parquet wraps to_parquet for the shell: default output name, --n-rows\nfor the other table in a mixed file, --drop-nested, --compression, and\ndropped columns reported on stderr.\n\nCo-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5.1 <noreply@anthropic.com>\n",
